growth plates in Weims

This is an average with the lower end being small dogs and the upper end large dogs--and some closures in giant breeds don't occur until 20+ months.

Something to think about when considering agility training/competition or other high impact activities for our breed at a young age...

My understanding is that growth plates in Weims close at about 12 months of age (Amy Anderson )
