Foxgloves blooming and weims moving.......
My attempt at trying to get the weims to pose in front of the foxgloves which were plentiful at this time the picture was taken. There were blue and white foxgloves both sides of the trail which I tried to get the weims with a flower background. As you can see, not too successful. Lots of rear shots though.
Cervelo with a funny expression on his face. Not sure what it means....buttercups in the background.
Cervelo and Winston
Click on picture to get a better view of the foxgloves.
The boys have found something to sniff or eat(?) in the grasses. Whatever it was, I could not get their attention ..
Cervelo and Lily surveillance
From this couch there is a view of the family room, hallway and outside patio. Weims like to know what is going on all the time especially if there is a noise!

The boys hanging out together...
Winston claims his corner on the couch.
Cervelo choses to perch above Winston.
Of course doing the perch sit on the couch only meant one thing....
Ear and throat nibbles on Winston who is conveniently below.
Should I continue with the nibbles?

Mountain trail with bunchberry and weims..........
On this particular mountain trail I found mounds of these white flowers called bunchberry also called a dwarf dogwood. This is a creeping perennial which gives rise to cluster of red fruit. The red fruit is edible for humans for jum and food for moose/birds
Rose in front followed by Winston, Lily and Cervelo who are grazing on the the trail. Eagle Mountain is seen in the distance which is part of a circuit of hikes around Bunzten Lake.
This particular trail follows a straight line between the trees towards Eagle Mountain where at the base is a beautiful lake called Bunzten providing recreation for both people/dogs. There are several hiking trails for both the experienced/inexperienced hikers around this Lake making it a popular destination for all.
