Mountain trail with bunchberry and weims..........

On this particular mountain trail I found mounds of these white flowers called bunchberry also called a dwarf dogwood. This is a creeping perennial which gives rise to cluster of red fruit. The red fruit is edible for humans for jum and food for moose/birds

Rose in front followed by Winston, Lily and Cervelo who are grazing on the the trail. Eagle Mountain is seen in the distance which is part of a circuit of hikes around Bunzten Lake.

This particular trail follows a straight line between the trees towards Eagle Mountain where at the base is a beautiful lake called Bunzten providing recreation for both people/dogs. There are several hiking trails for both the experienced/inexperienced hikers around this Lake making it a popular destination for all.
